Thank you for visiting the Laurel Valley Transportation Improvement Project (LVTIP) website, a product of the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) Engineering District 12-0, in partnership with the Federal Highway Administration and Westmoreland County. The primary focus of the LVTIP is to improve safety, access and mobility along the Route 981 corridor between Route 819 and the Arnold Palmer Regional Airport.
